It's from when Dark Horse took the old Star Wars daily newspaper strip (which ran from 1979 to 1984) and colorized them to be collected in book format. It's not original art, but it is Buccellato's original coloring (you can see where the marker soaked through the paper in spots), complete with color specification numbers and his signature. What John got me is page 19 of what became issue #6 of Classic Star Wars, which was eventually collected in the Classic Star Wars, Volume 1: In Deadly Pursuit trade paperback. Very cool stuff.

I got together with John last week to hang out a bit and
